Adaptra Hosts its first CIO Roundtable for the year - May 2012
Adaptra's first CIO Roundtable for 2012 was recently held at Altitude Restaurant on Friday, 4th May 2012. Several CIOs were in attendance with the insurance industry particularly well represented including Allianz, IAG Direct Insurance, Suncorp and Wesfarmers Insurance. The topic for this CIO Roundtable was "Mobility" - recently rated as one of the top 2 priorities for Australian CIOs!
Some key discussion points included:
- Is mobility a "disruptive technology"?
- Will early adopters get an advantage over followers or can laggards leap-frog and jump ahead of the early movers by leveraging their experience?
- What are the key technology decisions that need to be taken now to position for future success?
