Australian IT recruitment services specialist NOVA IT, along with project management consultancy services organisation, ADAPTRA, has opened its doors in Canberra to serve its growing client base.
Gavin Solomon has been appointed to head up the Canberra office and will take the role General Manager, Nova IT and Adaptra, both of which are owned by the MPM Group.
According to Peter Overton, Managing Director of MPM, "We had been servicing our ACT clients from Sydney and with the growth in our business it was time to establish a local office presence in Canberra."
Prior to joining the MPM group, Mr. Solomon held roles at the NSW Department of Health as a Project Manager and Affinity IT Recruitment as the NSW State Manager.
"We are thrilled to have Gavin on board during a period of high growth for Nova IT and Adaptra," said Mr. Overton. "His management capabilities and unique skills set in the project management and IT recruitment field are second to none."
Mr. Solomon will be responsible for leading the company's strategic direction to ensure both Nova IT and Adaptra establish a platform for delivering excellent client service.

Nova IT provides specialised information technology human resourcing services to clients operating predominantly in the managed services, vendor, financial services industry and government.
Adaptra provides clients with project management consultancy and services aimed at improving ROI on discretionary spend via effective project execution.
