Following on from last years support of professional Triathlete, Ryan O'Neill, Adaptra are excited to extend their sponsorships for a further 12 months.
Together with fulfilling the role of Resource Manager at Adaptra, Ryan has been competing for several years as a Professional triathlete. He has represented Great Britain at events around the globe including both the Commonwealth Games and World Championships. Last season Adaptra were part of the journey as Ryan looked to gain qualification for the 70.3 Ironman World Championships in Florida. This will again be the focus going in to the 08/09 season and with a solid winter of training behind him.
Adaptra Managing Director, Peter Overton commented: "I have always encouraged our staff to have an active interest in a range of activities outside of the office. It's great to support Ryan in what he is trying to achieve. I feel that his constant pursuit of improvement is very much aligned to our business approach. The 70.3 Ironman Triathlon consists of a 1.9km swim leg, 90km bike leg and a 21km run leg.
The first race in the qualifying series is in Singapore on the 7th of September.
