adaptra appoints david phillips as general manager - sales & marketing

Australian consultancy and project management services, Adaptra Project Management Services (Adaptra) has hired David Phillips as its new General Manager, Sales & Marketing.

Mr. Phillips has 25 years of experience in managing successful IT Sales and Service organisations across Asia Pacific, including stints in Hong Kong, Indonesia and Australia.

Prior to his appointment at Adaptra, Mr. Phillips was employed for ten years at Canon Australia in a variety of roles including: National General Manager, Direct Sales and Service. During his tenure at Canon, Mr. Phillips increased the company's turnover, led organizational change and drove into new 'Software' and 'Managed Service' markets, which resulted in the signing of the largest MFD managed services contract in Canon Australia's history, worth $50 million, with Telstra.

Mr. Phillips will be responsible for directing the Sales and Marketing Strategy for the BPM consulting and project management services business.

Adaptra has over ten years experience providing the banking and financial services sector with independent project management services and according to Peter Overton, Managing Director of MPM Group, Mr. Phillips' impressive skills set and knowledge of the local and Asia Pacific markets will assist in facilitating the Company's long term strategy.
